The Pile Invades Phoenix Comicon

Remember Lava and a Cup of Java at the 2010 Phoenix Comicon? Well the D&D crew from Ben’s RPG Pile is back at it again as we take up the mantle of “DM to the Masses”. Yes, Ben (Cheez), Rob (Magnum), Gabe (Drako) and Jason (Craggy) have put together another D&D steeple chase with harrowing twists, turns, traps and tragedy. We call it, “The Ark of Souls”.

Last year’s heroic adventurers are racing back for more as they seek to return the legendary Ark of Souls to its rightful resting place before agents of evil unleash its raw, life-draining power on a strategic region’s innocent inhabitants. Ark of Souls is an exclusive D&D 4E Comicon Delve, presented by BensRPGPile.com that challenges four second-level characters in another heart-pumping race against time. You just have to ask yourself – are you game?

Phoenix Comicon’s big event is this weekend (May 26 thru May 29). So be sure to make it over to the gaming tables on Friday and Saturday at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix (122 North Second Street, Phoenix, AZ) as we here at Bens RPG Pile will be running a most exciting game (all free of course)! If you can’t drop some dice, at least swing over for a quick, “say hey.”

And be sure to check back in early June for a full module review, free adventure download and video wrap up.

Questions to Ponder: Do you go to a lot of conventions? Why or why not? Ever been to Phoenix Comicon’s big show? What’s your favorite Con? Ever been to Gen Con? Is it worth paying $80 for a Leonard Nimoy autograph?

As part of the “winning” team last year I would absolutely LOVE to kick some butt at Comicon this year, but sadly I cannot make it. I’m still excited to see the adventure recap and videos when they’re available.

Also, if you get a chance to meet and/or play D&D with Wil Wheaton, do it. He’s awesome.
