Dr. Wizard’s Patented Elevation Indicator

Denoting Flying miniatures have always been a home-brewed effect. A clear water bottle cap or an old film case while effective, just don’t seem on par with the rest of one’s table gear.

So, imagine Ben’s happiness when he spotted a tiny side-bar ad in Dungeon Magazine (the old-school print version) featuring Dr. Wizard’s Patented Elevation Indicator. Ben met the wacky wizard inventor at Gen Con and quickly snagged crystal clear tube.

This three-inch tall rod stands inside a gaming grid square or hex and can hold a regular-sized miniature on top. The elevation of the character can be indicated by moving a set of bands up and down on the numbers on the rod. Add-bases for larger figs are also available.

It’s simple. It’s effective. It’s perfect.
