Wizards of the Coast Forum Thread: Funny things on the table :)

The Post: Hello fellow RP’rs, i have been in the forums for some time now and i haven’t seen a thread about the funny things that happens on the table so i thought… why don’t i make a thread about all the good things that makes D&D so addicting? So if you have a funny story from a session just post it here for everyone to appreciate it.

Our Response: Excellent question. We’ll have to go with our own twisted version of “Lord of the Flies”. A previous game session involved the usual pre-game BBQ meal and our game room is right off the back patio. Consequently, there’s a lot of doors opening and closing.

So, unfortunately a pesky fly had found its way into the house. For the next three hours, he hounded us with endless fly buys, constantly buzzing the table. Finally, our wizard could take no more. He grabbed his staff (or newspaper in laymen terms) and struck a crushing blow…victory.

But then things got weird.
